This ranch style home with Asian influences overlooks scenic Norbuck Park.
When the current owners purchased the home 10 years ago it needed of a lot of TLC, as the original design elements were masked by a southwestern motif. Upon entering the home you’ll immediately notice the porcelain floors and bamboo cabinetry in the kitchen. As their family and interests grew they converted the carport to the current Master Suite, while a garage and art studio were later added in back of the home.
The current 2,500 square foot, U-shaped floor plan gives every room a view of the interior courtyard making the house feel twice its size. The homeowner’s smart use of the space has worked well for life with a teenager, allowing kids to hangout on one side of the house and adults on the other. Their choice of eclectic décor has made a comfortable family environment.
Homeowner, Daniel Lewis is a self taught pastel artist who only began painting 8 years ago. Many of his landscape portraits were inspired by the views surrounding their home and White Rock Lake. The creations you see in the home showcase his bold use of color with non- traditional pastels.
